If our friendship were an ocean, I think we'd have already explored half of it by now. We've gone through random moments, funny conversations, weird situations, little memories, and probably enough nonsense to fill an entire underwater kingdom.
But that's what makes everything special. Sometimes friendships aren't about having some huge adventure every single day. Sometimes it's simply having someone there, sharing stupid jokes, talking about random things, or just existing in the same little corner of the world.
I wanted this birthday adventure to be an ocean because friendships remind me of the sea. They can start as something small, like a tiny ripple, and slowly become something enormous.
You meet one person, then another, and another, until suddenly you're surrounded by a whole ocean of people and memories.
And somewhere in that ocean, there will always be a little mermaid named Izzy exploring the world, meeting people, collecting memories, and making ordinary moments special.
I hope this next year brings you lots of happiness, new adventures, good memories, and people who make your world feel a little brighter.
